Flashback:

On April, there was one. 6 months later, there’s another, and the time is now.

It’s hard to see a dear friend leaving for overseas studies, especially for 3 years. It’s hard to digest the fact that you wouldn’t get to experience the person’s presence for sometime and it’s something that you must slowly adapt to it.

This special person is Hannah and she is my best friend. In fact, we are the best of (x3) friends. We kind of grew up together but actually, we hardly knew each other. We only knew each other by looks and we did not communicate although our parents do. She hated me for being such a big bully as I was always terrorizing the kids back in the old days. So frankly speaking, I only knew her as “the girl who plays the tambourine” in children’s worship.

Years passed, and we all grew up. Then we started to talk when we were asked to act in a Christmas movie in 2005 for. We hit off pretty well and by the middle of 2006, we became friends. Soon, we became close friends through worship practices and we chatted online on a regular basis. Worship practice was the one of the things that got this wonderful friendship ongoing and although we screwed up at times, we did not regret serving in this team. 2008 was the last year before the team disbanded and it was the middle of that year when we grew even closer and hanged out at everywhere we could go. Walking and chatting at random places, trying out different kinds of food and watching movies, it will always be living in my memory. There might be times when we had our arguments and I was being an annoying son of a bitch. I’m really sorry for causing all these. But I would like to say that I’m grateful that this can last for so long and I'm really thankful and blessed for such a friendship because it's something I don't deserve.

It’s really hard to see you leave but it’s a fact which I have to accept. 3 years might be long, but time passes by so quickly. I look forward to see you again, whether it's during your break or going to London (which means you will have to be my tour guide!). I’ll miss the times when we served in worship and hanged out together. It has always been a pleasure to be your friend and may this friendship be ongoing as always. All the splendid and wonderful times we had, I will not forget. Thank you for being such a wonderful and awesome friend. God bless you and without a doubt, I will definitely miss you, alot.
